Welcome to the Indian Council of Carotid Intervention (ICCI).
The ICCI is founded by a dedicated group of experts in the medical field led by Dr Atul Mathur, Sr Interventional Cardiologist, Escorts Heart Research Institute. The primary purpose of the ICCI is to raise awareness of new technologies and procedures in the field of interventional cardiology.
Given the enormous amount of research and innovation in the cardiology field, it is increasingly important for medical professionals to consider and adopt new approaches to prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This is needed to provide the best possible care to the patient including treating patients through non-surgical means thereby reducing pain and the recuperation time.
